Ky-Mani, who is among the richest and most famous Reggae Singers was born on Friday, 26 February 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas, a cult film featuring Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut album, Like Father Like Son album and songs like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the most popular song on the British reggae album chart) as well as"Who The Cap" (remix), Sensimelia and others all contributed to the rising recognition for the new reggae of his generation. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue which was a smash cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was the first musician to play on stage at Midem in Miami the world's largest showcase of music. Marley performed in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live throughout 36 nations. Marley became the subject of bidding wars. In 1997, the singer signed a contract with Gee Street/V2 Records, and also completed an album in collaboration together with P.M. Dawn on the track Gotta be Movin On up. He is the only son from Bob Marley and his table tennis champion wife Anita Belnavis. Ky-Mani Marley is the richest Jamaican Reggae Singer.
