Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to lots of classical music and traditional boleros. She also listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos along with the dramatic shows that she attends. At the age 16, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense training in singing. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. After relocating in the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current residence in southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She is passionate about singing, music as well as the arts keeps her involved in local activities both as an artist and educator. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana hopes, with her performance of Latin American traditional songs, that she will bring about a desire, specifically in the younger generations to keep this tradition vibrant.
